Crises of heart
Or of the mind
Never allow to defeat you
Quench with resolve
Until you’re peaceful and
Eternal bliss will
Reside in you.
We oftentimes become or end up victims of our own fears, uncertainties and doubts in life. It’s either the heart or the mind that suffers. But life is short and one of the best weapons we can have is to conquer them bravely and with a firm resolve. If we do, then we could live a happy, normal, peaceful and contented life.

Beautiful Amity Me. You are so right.
thank you Amias dear...:)
inspirational, I must remember these words.
Oh, to overcome our fears! I need eternal bliss! Yours is the second acrostic I have read today! Interesting to see how you each approached it!
Nadege hello...

Hello PS,

we can ask her...
I can't disagree with that.
...thanks Anthony...!
Embrace those crises and thrive!
This is so very true...our fears are our worst enemy. For so many of us, it takes a lifetime to realize that. Wonderful post!
lovely ..
Much needed one..
what has time got to do with blood?
Very nicely said, Amity. Conquering fear was our Sunday school lesson today, I taught. It was Psalm 56 and David wrote about his time hiding from two Kings in a cave. Either would have killed him had they found him.
Welcome to OSI. You may have written previously that I had missed. Sorry if I did.
Per Amias, mine will be for the open acrostic also.
I hope you have a nice day and a nice week, :-)
..
really cool one Amit!!
good job!
I like the phrase "quench with resolve" it goes against the expectations - as "resolve" is usually thought of as hard rather than quenching. Good imagry.
...thank you Sandy...:)

Bliss will reside when we resolve that which bothers us inside.
Well done.

You are so right! It's a shame, though, that I have to re-learn that lesson again and again. Your poem will help me to retain the wisdom.
